This was our first ever Chicken of the Month and we were overwhelmed by the number of entries. Over 200 of you posted your chooks on our UK Facebook page.
We could only choose 12 for the final stage of voting. And then you voted in your hundreds too. You can see all of the final 12 chickens here but in the end there can only be one winner. It was close run thing with so many gorgeous floofs to chose from. Here are the top three in reverse order.
Chicken of the Month – 3rd Place went to Spotty Dotty, owned by Adrienne Bedington.

Chicken of the Month – 2nd Place went to Ria Parkinson’s beautiful (and brilliantly named) Martin.
“This is Martin. Silver partridge silkie. He’s big now and he looks like a rock star!”
Chicken of the Month – The Winner or winners in this case were “Lucky and Tiny”, sent in by Sarah Tye.
