As with previous ones it was easy to set up and give security to my fowl. I hope it last a long time. My last one lost so many pixels from the screen after 4 years that it became unusable.

So many companies just want to sell their product and then you are on your own - not so with Chickenguard, No matter when you purchased your item they are always there to answer questions and give advice.

I love this and it really helps. Two tweeks would improve it. I got the automated version this time where it opens & closes with the light. Pm is great (70lux) but am with not open until it's at least 200 lux. So the door does not open on cloudy days. It should be 70 lux aswell. Secondly is door calibration. It tells you you can start moving the door up or down, but that is not accurate as the second option is always the same (I forget if it's up or down). So I often have to do this twice.

No more 6am early rises. Such a great idea. We set the timer through the year so the girls get maximum outdoor time. We always check on them at night and usually manually override the close. On the evenings we’re out it really does give peace of mind. Not a chicken lost to foxes etc since we’ve had it installed. The pro is our second one as the original was 6 yrs old.

In spite of UPS's best efforts we eventually got our door opener. It was very easy to set up and we are very happy with it.

Straightforward to set up and is working well. Pleased with choice.

Excellent device. I hope the solar cell carries on working as it failed on our previous model.

Bought 2 of these for our 2 chicken coops. They work really well pleased with them so far. Think the instruction manual could do with section 6 inserted (close) as included with section 5 in the enclosed manual. It meant we did not set close to what we wanted. The information was there on the website instructions though.

I now have 4 of these openers, and I don’t know what I would do without them, I don’t have to worry about by chucks getting out in a morning or being shut in at night. And when I go away my neighbours don’t have to get up early just to let them out
